Ken’s home and the town of Santa Ynez is absolutely wonderful. The home is top notch, gorgeous amenities and walkable to everything in uptown Santa Ynez. We took his recommendation and visited Demetria Vineyards and it was perfect. Great calm, wine and music with a fabulous view. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our girls weekend in wine country thanks to booking Ken's beautiful home! The house was gorgeous and had lots of charm. It was walking distance from some amazing restaurants and it was wonderful to sit in the sunroom with coffee in the morning, and chat with local wine in the living room in the evening! It was great to be more local and close to all that Santa Ynez and Los Olivos have to offer. 10/10 would definitely come back and stay again!

This is the perfect location for a weekend in SY. Great restaurants & shopping, all a short walk from the house. The house was very clean and comfortable for my friends and I. We had a great stay!

We had an amazing stay at Ken’s house during our golf trip! The place is truly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. It’s not your typical, basic rental—it’s a beautiful home filled with amazing amenities and unique art that made it feel like a home away from home. The location was fantastic, super close to SY Kitchen, which is a must-visit, and we also had a blast at Maverick’s Tavern. Everyone in our group loved it and is already planning to come back with their families. Even though we were mostly out exploring or golfing, the house was perfect for relaxing and enjoying meals together. We’ll definitely be back! Also Ken was so responsive and helpful. Great host.

Ken’s place is a beautiful home. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining it and it was absolutely spotless. Ken was extremely responsive and even compensated us on his own accord due to minor ongoing work in the backyard. Wonderful homeowner and home, highly recommend if you wish to checkout Santa Ynez or Solvang which is only 10 minutes away.

Our family of 4 had a fantastic stay. The historic home has been completely remodeled and modernized with top quality appointments. The location can't be beat - close to Santa Ynez restaurants and bars (Mavericks), the Chumash casino, and quick road access to the wineries and other places of interest in the surrounding areas. The owner Ken was very communicative and responsive. I highly recommend staying at this home.

We had such a wonderful time staying at the Prairie Home! It is a gorgeous home that is very welcoming. We immediately felt comfortable and almost didn't want to leave to head into town. Everything in the home was well thought-out. You can see the love put into the home. There wasn't anything we wanted for; they have an RO system, coffee pot, tea pot, and everything you could want or need in the kitchen. Ken, our host, was very communicative and attentive. It was is close to all of the small towns you want to visit. We can't wait to go back!

Ken’s place is truly exceptional. You can feel the pride and care he’s put into this home the moment you walk in. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. The before and after photos of the renovation were amazing to see, it’s clear he restored this place with real heart. The layout made it easy to relax, and the whole stay felt peaceful. Ken was a gracious and attentive host, communicating clearly and making sure we had everything we needed. We’d gladly stay again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful, welcoming place to unwind.

Beautiful house in a great part of town, easily walkable to restaurants and nightlife in the area. House was much bigger then described and easily accommodated the 6 of us. House has been beautifully maintained and decorated! Ken was great checking in with us and making sure we were enjoying our stay. Only complaint (really not much to complain about at this house!) was there is some construction going on accross the street that started very very early in the morning but it’s temporary and we are early risers anyway!
